they always ask to bring pictures for medical exams - not sure why... you also need to bring some ID to the medical exam... you don't need to send any additional pictures with police clearance certificate - just give pictures to a DMP when doing medicals...

no - it is the same - decision made for sponsorship and application received for permanent residence... nothing has change after medical forms were send...

yes - only main applicant's name + application received in 2008... no info about dependents... nothing has changed yet...

i think that your mother can withdraw her visa application... my father got an unexpected request for medicals when he applied for visa - he revoked his applications because he did not have enough time to get medicals done and still come to visit us for christmas... not sure if it can have any...

they have 15,000 visa target for parents/grand parents for CPCs-in Canada... does it mean that CPP-O will issue visas? or they still will forward the cases for visa issuing to the local office - but these visas will be counted as 'in Canada'?

our DMP said that he can send results only to the rigional office and refused sending them to Ottawa... i think it does not matter - even if the results go to Ottawa they are going to the MEDICAL office, not the same person that is processing the file... i believe that all offices are connected...

my office is not New Delhi... and i don't think they can request a passport without receiving medical information... i was thinking about tracking my medical results package and when it reaches the regional medical office write an e-mail to Ottawa saying that i submitted everything they requested...

you can ask DMP for the tracking number so you can track the delivery of the package...

my understanding is that DMP has to submit the medicals to a regional medical office... dont' think that DMP can give the medical results to parents - they might think that the applicant might want to make some changes to the medical results - so they will send them directly to a regional office...

No PCC has been already delivered to Ottawa, but i did not receive any acknowledgement... medicals has been submitted to the local medical office today... it's too early... i don't expect anything from CPP-O for at least a month...

there was an e-mail address for CPP-Ottawa in the approval letter that CPC-M sent... it might be better than call centre... but i'm not sure...

not sure... when i try to contact CIC - i usually get nothing... but i think it will not harm if you ask them...

my understanding is that her status did not change... but she received a letter stating that her documents were received... it is different from my process - i did not receive any confirmation that my documents were received... i think that CIC realized that people are nervous because of the 90...

it depends... if he already applied for sponsoring his mother - then it depends on when he applied... if he has not applied yet - then he can not apply now... parents sponsorship program has been frozen since November 2011 for 2 years... the program will be redisigned so nobody knows if it is...
