Quick update... I received an email from VO that COPR will be issued on the very same day when the police certificate and passport are brought to the embassy in Vienna. Therefore, we're almost done... ;D

We got my PPR on Monday along with a request to enclose a police certificate... but I don't think that certificate should impact our timeline much, VO in Vienna sends PPR's at the end of the process unlike some other VO's. And I don't understand why do some people literally don't break a sweat...

I received an email by VO in Vienna where they asked me to send them a new police certificate along with a passport. I assume that COPR is around the corner. There were few Vienna applicants who got their COPR's recently... they applied in June, July, August and September. And bunch of people...

Regardless, I will drop off the documents as it is much faster than sending them (and price-wise pretty much the same when compared to DHL). I'll ask them if they can issue COPR before the end of the day... unless they need to do additional checks.

I'm with my wife in Serbia and I almost lost it today. I can only imagine the pain of people who have been waiting for so long... I have no idea why is it taking this long. So much suffering and so much hassle... I am speechless. Hang in there guys.

They have to 'align' everything... most likely soon. It's such a bummer that my wife is not from a visa exempt country... BTW, today seemed to be an 'incomplete application' day.. McDutch, another person, and myself were all asked for additional documents... interesting.

How long ago did you send them new documents? Did they request passport with it?

Depends on their work load, and whether or not it's been 3 months since you got an AOR from them.

Thanks Sweden. I hope that police certificate that VO requested along with a passport won't cause any further delay... Vienna VO sends PPR's at the very end of the process. Let's hope for the best.
