congrats Nole and everyone else who got updates today! Good to hear that things are moving along. I hope we hear something soon too.

Thanks. Does anyone have any experience with documents that have to be sent from Serbia to Vienna? What's the most efficient and fastest way for the documents to be delivered to the VO in Vienna? DHL, EMS, or registered mail?

Also, I assume that passport will be sent back to the applicant's home address, correct?

I would use DHL. I used them to send papers from Canada to Serbia, and they were delivered in 3 days (including weekend). DHL is pretty reliable.

If they had asked only for passport, i would go in person to get the visa. On Thursdays, if you drop it off in the morning, they would have the visa in the passport in the afternoon. That's how 2 of my friends' husbands' did it, so i hope they still do that. I would prefer that, rather than sending passport by whatever mail.

I also noticed that Anonymous2 had PPR on November 12th, and visa received on November 15 (Thursday), so it seems they went in person to get it.

Unfortunately, VO didn't ask for passport only - they also asked for a police certificate along with a passport so I'm not sure how long would it take for visa to be issued if we go there in person. I will most likely use DHL to send requested documents.

The most important thing is that Vienna is working on our applications... let's hope that all of us will hear more good news soon.

So both nole73 and McDutch would get their COPR if it wasnt for missing documents, it might be that they also checked file saw something missing and thats why the process is delayed but I think if they asked nole73 for passport and police certificate its only formality and they will issue visa and send back in matter of a week or two

We would go to Vienna if we only knew that we'll get visa the same day. I'm not sure how longer we'll have to wait once they get the requested documents; hopefully not much longer.

I send today an email to Vienna, does anyone knows how long they take to answer?

Depends on their work load, and whether or not it's been 3 months since you got an AOR from them.

Nope, according to the visa office they said my case is approved and as a German I don't need to get a visa stamp, I send the police clearance 3weeks ago and the medical 2weeks ago,..they told me to send the medical to London, I don't how long they will take?

They have to 'align' everything... most likely soon.

It's such a bummer that my wife is not from a visa exempt country...

BTW, today seemed to be an 'incomplete application' day.. McDutch, another person, and myself were all asked for additional documents... interesting.

even for my husband they asked for the military book , i know where we can get , i think Vienna office askign for additional documets..
