Here's hoping that the files being processed fast at Sydney also shorten the load at Ottawa so that the ones that went straight to Ottawa move up the queue.

What office did you receive the rejection email from? Was it CPC Sydney or CPP Ottawa?

Yes, because I put in the 2011 NOC (coz I thought I had to), but my actual job description is way closer to the 2006 NOC

Does it matter which NOC code you put in the application (2011 or 2006). Will they still assess you according to both NOCs?

It seems the number of applications that are in process have increased from January to February to March. I think that's great for the lucky few, not so much for the rest of us. I would still like to know where my file is at though.

Thanks guys. I will send the docs by post as well. I'm also going to attempt to send them from an alternate email address. Maybe that'll get it to them. Would there be a problem emailing docs from an email address that is different from the one I had put down on my application?

Maybe it is getting blocked. Can you tell me what the size of your attachments was. Maybe my attachments are too big. But I always get an automated response sayingmy email has been received.
