    To be able to post your status on your profile you have to reach 10 posts. As far as the passport goes, have seen many Japanese go through process, passport not required.( At the most CIC may require photocopy) Search GCMS Notes on forum, you can order them for 5 bucks takes 30 days to receive...

    Agreed, many have no updates on e-cas. You will hear from CEM most likely before any updates on e-cas.

    CIC called to confirm address to return passport with VISA. Passport and Appendix A will be couriered to Embassy. My wife lives in Mindinao, Zamboanga del Sur.

    My wife received phone call from CEM. Passport and Appendix A for VISA Issuance.almost there now. To those still waiting, it will come when you least expect it. Best of Luck

    Well my friend the day has finally come, wife got a call from CEM. Passport and Appendix A to be sent to Embassy for VISA issuance. VISA Validity July 13,2014.( date meds expire)

    A few have sent passports to CEM. You will receive back when process complete with VISA attached. Only people that know how long are the ones working in Embassy. Good Luck, hopefully not too long of a wait.

    I think at the point you are at no news is definitely good news. Nothing more needed to process. We are down to weeks now, not months anymore. But who really knows, hopefully very soon.

    Hello, first you will hear from Manila is PPR or if additional docs required. Check your E-CAS regularly, some don't receive PPR go straight to in process. Wait times seem to be about the 9 to 10 month mark.

    Sorry to say I don't think so. I order Notes on April 24, went in process May 20. My notes from April 24, say samething as yours even before they began processing.

    I get the same questions from my wife, at least 3 times a week.LOL Being your wife is close to embassy many just get a phone call to bring passport to Embassy for VISA. Happens very fast.

    You won't have to re-med necessarily. Meds can be extended, but left to the discretion of officer. Whether to extend or not. My E-CAS showed medicals received for at least 2 weeks prior to going to in process.
