Is a tough situation , I'm no lawyer but the way I read the new law. You have to be together for 2 years from the date of landing. You received COPR after new law was introduced? You might want to check with someone that is knowledgable in Immigration laws. Good Luck, Step

Hello Jennelyn, VO= VISA Office. Inland is application processed in Canada. Outland processed overseas. Sounds like yours will be a Parental Sponsorship. Listed processing times on CIC Website is 42 months. Your father is the one being sponsored? For permanent resident? Good Luck, Step

Yes, very frustrating. I'm in the same boat, application been with CIC for 5 months. Hardest part is when sent to VO Manila everything goes"black" no updates on E-CAS. But I'm in it for the long haul, will see it through what other choice do we have. Keep your chin up, everyday is one day closer...
