I'm not sure about the above data - I would be very surprised if only 16,630 applicants had submitted their applications out of 47,876 total ITAs. According to the spreadsheet you linked to, the data are preliminary and subject to change, though I'm not sure what changes could be made that would...

When you get the ECA from WES it'll have your ECA certificate number on it - at least in my case it's the same as your existing reference number with the letters IMM at the end (e.g. 1234567IMM). You'll need to enter this number along with the date of the ECA report into your EE profile.

When I got that message I got ECA the following day. It was a fortnight ago and I got the email from WES one hour after the draw was made, hence I missed out on the last draw by just a couple of hours. EE profile was all ready to submit except for WES reference! :( Hope you get more lucky than...

Anyone with Ph.D. done with WES? Please answer my question.

It makes no difference how it gets to your university, you can email or post it.

Anyone with Ph.D. done with WES? Please answer my question.

The WES website has a tool you can use to tell you what documents you'll need: http://www.wes.org/required/ For me it was the PhD certificate sent by myself and then the above form sent by the university and that was sufficient. No transcript was sent as PhDs don't ncessarily have transcripts...

Anyone with Ph.D. done with WES? Please answer my question.

Your university needs to fill in this form: https://www.wes.org/required/degreeconferral.pdf You can fill out the first part of it and then ask your university to fill out the rest then stamp it and send it to WES. Your husband needs to create his own WES profile if you are claiming points for him.

Thank you for your input. I've seen your posts and you always come across as very helpful and knowledgeable so your help is appreciated. A quick question for you to aid my understanding of what you've said as there seems to be a contradiction in it the way I've read it: I have a couple of...

    Application Status:Called CIC

I don't recall exactly, but I think the first option was 1 to deal with enquiries about immigration/PR and then every other option was 2. There's a lot of pre-recorded information you have to listen to but at the end it says if you want to speak to an agent press 0. That's what I did and it put...

If you borrowed that money to show POF then yes, otherwise no. Whether you need to disclose it or not is a point of debate - see previous replies to this thread.

I don't understand this advice. The correct answer is written on the IRCC website. In black and white. IRCC have gone to lengths to show that this answer is not correct: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp Quote: Document requirements The applicant...

    Proof of funds question

Bumping this up now as I have an answer from IRCC on this question: I've just spoken to IRCC on the phone as I've seen this question asked many times and there's never been a consistent and authoritative answer. The agent I spoke to said the following: The funds that you show as proof of funds...

Can I ask what number you called? I tried ringing IRCC a couple of days ago from the UK - I tried 1-888-242-2100 (I used the international code for calling Candada 001) but get a recorded message saying that the call cannot be connected as dialled... I found the above number here...

Thanks :) I feel like I've been in limbo for months saving up for this and waiting for ECAs to come back... Looking forward to finally getting my application submitted, hopefully by the end of August and with any luck I'll be approved early next year! Hoping that everyone here gets their ITA...

Finally got ECA results back today but only got Express Entry profile submitted at 1730 UTC. Have been accepted into the pool under FSW with 472 points so hoping for an ITA in the next draw, shame to have missed out by a matter of hours for this draw though! Good luck to everyone in the pool...

    Proof of funds question

Or alternatively you could be honest with IRCC and just save up the money yourself, over a period of months or years if necessary, like the vast majority of us have? You're blatantly trying to cheat the system and if you do that and get caught then you deserve to receive the ban for...

    Proof of funds question

My view is yes - you should show your student loan. It is still a loan and technically forms part of a debt which you are due to repay at some point. I don't know how they work in the US, but in the UK they work almost like a graduate tax - i.e. if you don't work and earn at least around £20,000...

    Proof of funds question

I'd be wary of doing anything like this, it's completely against the rules and won't be condoned by anyone on here. They may not notice but you're taking a risk, I'm sure you're already aware of this.
