That's great news, congratulations! We've not yet moved, though still have COPR in hand. We're doing a soft landing tomorrow at Toronto before finally moving in November. Good luck with your move!
I've not tried yet, but am in possession of my COPR and will be travelling in early March. Applied for eTA for both myself and my partner (who is primary applicant) and we were both approved for eTA. I'd rather be 100% sure and cover all bases than take a chance we'll be turned away from our...
My EE profile updated today with confirmation of the visa approval along with a letter saying that they've done my COPR. I'd imagine you are around the same stage? Seems that there was no need for uploading any information.
So one week after getting PPR, our profile has updated again today with confirmation of approval! :) Hopefully COPR will be in the post shortly. Profile updated with the "letter accompanying visa" just advising us of the expiry date for the COPR and wishing us a pleasant journey! I think we will...
I've done a reasonable amount of travel around Europe (perhaps an average of 2 trips a year for the past 10 years), but as a UK resident that doesn't appear on my passport - was obviously still declared. Only three other countries visited that required visas/passport stamps so not a lot of...
That's great, mine is going in the post today along with a brief letter of explanation as to why the copies are printed rather than uploading to myCIC.
Good news and congratulations on your PR! :D
Thanks for the advice, but if you're from a visa-exempt country the "passport request" letter is a bit of a misnomer as you're not actually required to send any passport.
Yeah, I'm a UK citizen so in the same boat as you, needing no visa. I've tried calling the High Commission but the automated message says that they don't take phone enquiries and you have to email ldnimmigration@international.gc.ca if you have any queries.
This is the BE thread that I'm...
I'm in the exact same position, having got PPR first thing this morning and there's nowhere to upload documents. I read a thread on BritishExpats forum that you can just send all the documents in the same envelope to the High Commission address in London as they understand that myCIC doesn't...
Submitted the latest statement for each of my credit cards, nothing more. Stated in a letter of explanation words to the effect of "As requested, I enclose my latest Credit Card statements showing my outstanding debts. No money was borrowed from these credit cards to facilitate immigration and I...
Hey Wickerman,
Thought you might like to know that I got my PPR today. Posting here so that there is a definitive answer to your earlier question regarding credit card debts - it's a question I've seen asked quite a lot. This is based on my experience and communication with IRCC:
1. You MUST...
There are any number of reasons possible... Unfortunately the only way of really knowing what is going on with your case is to request your GCMS notes. I wouldn't suggest it at this stage as you may well get your visa come through before you hear back - things move quite quickly at CIC these...
