PPR email just came now! All I can say is wow! 3 weeks from AOR to PPR is beyond our wildest dreams. Honestly thought that something would come up with our application and it would take a long time but it feels so good to finally have the golden email! Wouldn't have been able to do it without...

I can't say that I know what the best option for you is, but my partner and I are in a very similar position, although we are applying on one application rather than separately. We are planning on taking a landing trip to Canada to activate our PR and do admin such as get SIN, look for house/job...

My understanding is that there is no need to prove that you've had the money for 6 months. You just need to be able to prove that it is your money and that you've not borrowed it. They may ask for more information if you've not included a LOE but you should be fine as long as the money is yours.

Hi all, a bit late to the party here! AOR on 31st August, MyImmiTracker telling me that on average I ought to get PPR by 5th December. I hope that's accurate - it's a lot sooner than I would be expecting! My partner and I have already booked flights from London to Toronto departing in March to...

    RPRF paid. Now what?

It seems to vary, but you should see being asked to pay RPRF as a good thing. According to this page you pay your RPRF when your application is approved: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=&lob=rprf That being said, there still may be other checks in progress...

I think that it's unlikely that those who got CRS in the 420 region or below would be deemed undesirable by IRCC. The bare minimum is set outside of the CRS system by ensuring that, for example, FSW applicants must score 67/100 on the FSW points matrix. As long as the minimum requirements are...

The idea of these threads is to provide hope for those who are awaiting their ITA. Hope, though, does not mean blind optimism. Comments such as "dreams are shattered" are not productive and should not be welcomed on what is supposed to be an optimistic thread. There are many good reasons to...

Don't be pessimistic! This is the ray of HOPE thread! Scores will come down. I've been pretty accurate with my past predictions and I'm sure that scores will keep going lower. We just have to be patient.

I actually think they're extremely transparent. There's a lot of data freely available for download - CRS history, number of ITAs, full history from previous years - and then on the Canada Open Data Portal they provide even more - breakdowns as to which NOCs people have, levels of education...

IRCC don't care about the score. They care about the number of immigrants so they can hit their targets. CRS was as low as 413 only a few weeks back so it's not to do with the CRS score. If they don't do a new draw today then its because they don't need to do one to meet their targets.

Still plenty of time for a draw today - it's only 1418 UTC now and recent draws have been as late as 1725 UTC - last time it wasn't until around 1630 UTC. Don't panic, the draw is coming!

EE is only for economic migrants - for most economic migrants EE is the only way in now. However, Canada is also accepting non-economic immigrants through non-economic streams as well, which don't go through Express Entry.

You are correct, the target is 300,000 total new PRs, however I am only interested in those who can get in through Express Entry, the total for which is around 130,000. The other 170,000 consist of refugees, family streams, business, caregiver, humanitarian etc
