In canada sponsoring spouse outside of canada but want to return to Mexico

If you are a Canadian Citizen, there should be no issues. Please keep in mind at some point you may need to prove to the Visa officer that you intend to come back once your husband get his PR.

HELP - Need to get my husband out of KABUL, AFGHANISTAN ASAP

Yes, but he would be safe in the US while waiting for his PR for Canada.

HELP - Need to get my husband out of KABUL, AFGHANISTAN ASAP

An MP will not help, especially since recent developments in the anti terror war staged by Canada on its citizens/PRs. Her husband is in a difficult situation, and CIC, and CSIS will not allow for someone that interacts with terrorists (as interpreter) to skip any required security clearance...

HELP - Need to get my husband out of KABUL, AFGHANISTAN ASAP

I am sorry to hear about your situation. It is not easy to go through something like this. However, in light of all of this I think your husband should try to obtain whatever Visa the US is offering him. Based on his type of job there, and the fact that he has interactions with prisoners and...

Grahin, LOL thank you for this, you just made my day :D

Devastated at how long it's taking ( over 4 months since passport request)

I agree that it's not a bad place to visit or live, but as QuebecOkie said, you have to have the right type of attitude, which the OP lacks.

    Medical examination? quick question!

There is no medical exam form for the upfront medicals. Make sure when you husband calls for an appointment he tells them he is doing an upfront medical for family class sponsorship. The doctors now use e-medicals, and they submit everything to CIC electronically, and the doctor will provide...

Don't misunderstand me, I love vising QC, but that's pretty much where I draw the line.

Devastated at how long it's taking ( over 4 months since passport request)

If everyone knew the problems they may encounter in a marriage prior to that marriage no one would be getting married therefore the divorce rate would be nil LOL Being married comes with all ups and downs, and definitely tough moments we all encounter. Each and every message the OP posted is...

Devastated at how long it's taking ( over 4 months since passport request)

Grahin, it is true that everyone has a right to complain, however some take it too far. Look above at the quote from the OP. Does that sound like someone in a genuine relationship?

Devastated at how long it's taking ( over 4 months since passport request)

I tend to agree with Wyz. Many from visa exempt countries should be thankful for having the ability to visit freely, and especially those living in US where you can come to Canada even for a weekend for less than $200. Many of us have spouses far away, 15-20 hr flights, and many months of...

    Mother as a sponsor

Unfortunately this does not change anything. This case wouldn't even qualify under H & C, as CIC would simply tell your mother to relocate to the country where you live if it is so important for you and family to take care of her.

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

I think they will reduce the age in the future, as they should. It is irrelevant to Canada and the Canadian government what is the norm or standard in other countries.

    pension question

PMM are you referring to a pension or old age security? As far as I know, in order to collect a Canadian pension one would have had to work in Canada and contribute to CPP. Old Age Security however, is available if someone has resided in Canada for at least 10 years after turning 18.

Immigration Applications are not Processed in the Order that they are Received

Visa officer and different visa offices are very inconsistent, therefore unfair. I think Canada should move to central processing within Canada for all family applications. Interviews aren't really necessary. Sponsors and applicants are asked to provide relationship proof with applications...

    Spousal sponsorship

It's a standard quote. Don't worry too much, since you did not have an interview, and the VO never raised any issues to you prior to DM, it is a positive DM.

Immigration Applications are not Processed in the Order that they are Received

Although the age difference and no wedding ceremony is a red flag, in your case I do not believe these would be viewed as red flags. You have been waiting a while now, but I think your last delay is the re-medical request, in all honesty the VO should have just extended the ones your wife did...

Immigration Applications are not Processed in the Order that they are Received

In addition there are some applications missing information/documents, there are applicants that were in the military or police in which case it takes longer for security screening, there are those who lived in many countries for more than 6 months thus require more involvement etc. Each time a...
