    Forms signed in black ink

CIC has that effect on people haha. Black ink, blue, purple, green, all ok. It is easy to spot a photocopy. On a side note there are provincial government department that require all documents be signed in black ink (one being BC).

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

I am sorry to hear you were not successful this time around. But on the positive note, once the program re-opens in 2015 you will be more than ready, and realistically I think applications from 2014 and 2015 will be processed very close to each other, with first final decisions late 2017, early...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

the #s are only fractions of all applications processed, there are still a bunch of 2007, 2008, 2009 being processed today, and some of 2007 were processed in 2012. If the CSQ is valid for 3 years than it would make sense the applications are processed before CSQ expires, unless the VOs are...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

The only thing that comes to mind is the CSQ, is there an expiry of it by the QC government? I am not familiar with QC rules at all, so I don't know. If there is an expiry of that portion, than it may be probable that VOs directions are to process files containing CSQ, I really don't know...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

I was able to find some data that may help. 2014 has not been released yet. http://data.gc.ca/data/en/dataset?_organization_limit=0&organization=cic So based on all PGP processed in 2013 (Jan to June) of applications received 2007, 2008, 2009. Applications (destination Province)...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

I cant say for sure, because anything is possible. But I do doubt they fast track QC applicants at 2nd stage. It may be coincidence, must remember that applications discussed in a forum are just a small fraction of total applications being processed by CIC.

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

That's true, it is unfair. I think CIC should move to centralized processing within Canada, it would eliminate a lot of country specific nonsense. I started reviewing spousal processing for other developed countries, and I was shocked to learn that Canada has one of the longest wait times as...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

If CIC keeps up the processing at current levels of the backlog applications, in 2 years they will clear the backlog of PGP apps from before and including 2011. My guess is they will start 1st stage processing for 2014 applications in Mississauga in mid-late 2015 early 2016. I think first...

sponsorship of parents and grandparents for Canadian Permanent Residence

my guess is none. lol If they keep up the processing at current levels of the backlog applications, in 2 years they will clear the backlog of PGP apps from before 2011. My guess is they will start 1st stage processing for 2014 applications in Mississauga in mid-late 2015 early 2016. I think...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

There is no priority for QC applications. PGP applicants from 2009, 2010 are being processed regardless of which province the sponsor is a resident off.

    Child sponsorship Question

It is in months, and it is the same as spousal processing, so for US, if processed through CPP-Ottawa it should be under 1 year.

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

The government would never do that, the reason is very simple ... for possible 1 or 2 years they can use the money. They have approx $5 million to invest, make money on all the fees submitted, and in case they reject the application at a later date, they just give back the $1000 per app without...

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

From CIC: Please note that PGP applications received before the November 5, 2011 pause and currently in the queue will be processed before any new applications (received on or after Jan. 2, 2014) are considered. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2013-12-31.asp

WHEN YOUR PARENT SPONSORSHIP 2014 APPLICATION REACHED CPC-M? UPDATE HERE...

1st stage for PGP based on CIC posted processing is 44 months. They are still working on the applications received prior to 2011, CIC advised in their news release that the new applications from the 2014 500 cap will be placed behind those already in queue.

    Sponsership

we all go through that, CIC is just doing its job, yes its frustrating waiting months, years to be reunited with our loved ones, but in the end Allah made the choice for us to marry someone in our home country and not someone who is already in Canada. And remember that Allah's decisions are...

FAM Sponsorship Almost 18 Months LVO

Although your file is in London, you cannot look at processing times for London for your timeline as you are a citizen of Pakistan, and there are still parts of the processing that will have to be done by Islamabad. Hopefully it will not take as long as the posted 32 months for Islamabad...

Possibility to pass medical test for a person who suffered brain stroke recently

Medical inadmissibility varies greatly between spousal and parent sponsorships. With respect to spousal, having had a stroke and needing rehab is not something that can bar the sponsorship as "excessive demand" cannot be used as a reason for refusal under medical inadmissibility under spousal...
