    Dont worry abt the ECAS status . Most of the times it is not updated. I have seen ppl getting PPR and PR visas and their ECAS status does not change. The best way to find out about your file is through GCMS notes.

    All inland spousal applications average processing time is now 14 months. It has decreased from 19 months which is a good sign. Ur spouse can get a work permit once initial assessment is finished approx 8 to 9 monts. Kindly refer to cic for more details. Getting a TRV for wife might be easier...
