Someone got PPR from Saskatchewan yesterday. He applied in June 2012 to federal. So provincial cap seems not an issue here. Have anyone discussed the fate of Buffalo transfer cases with their MP office? Looks like few Buffalo transfer cases getting PPR randomly, not under any planned processing.

Also reading the below forum, it seems June 2012 applicants are getting "In Process" these days in regular fashion--

Not sure if they are still giving 120 days PPR commitment after the medical for new applicants. Is there any deadline to finalize Buffalo transfer cases?

I have seen that especially for post May 2012 applicants. These days they are getting 2 separate emails...one each for AOR and MR. Some also have Sydney as processing VO. And going to 'IN PROCESS' after Medical results have been received is pretty common these days. But still I think it doesn't speed up the process. It just means they are updating the Ecas a little more regularly at Sydney (may be).

I have a question about GCMS notes. I don't live in Canada so should I pick Privacy Act or Access to Info Act. What is the difference between these two? Also, does getting GCMS affect your application?

Thanks.

@ Sharuu... Did you get your GCMS notes lately? You were supposed to order it in October! Let's know what updates you have in your recent notes.

Hello everyone,

I am new on this thread, I saw lot of people here who have applied to from US. I have question but its not exactly related to topic.
I am in dilemma first let me explain my situation. I am Indian Citizen but now in United States on Student Visa. My Visa expires in Dec, 2012.
I have applied under AINP ( Family Stream). I have submitted my Fed application in May, 2012 without FBI Clearance. I had received FBI clearance in June, 2012. I had DUI ( Driving under Influence) but it was dismissed that why Background Check got delayed. I haven't sent FBI clearance yet, I had called CIC twice for sending FBI clearance. They said it's upto u but the will ask when they will open my file. Right now my application is in CPP- Ottawa since June or July, 2012 and my VO will be in United States (Detroit).
Now question is that when I will go to India after Visa expires should I tell them that I am going to India, by doing this New Delhi( India) will be my VO.
I would have been in processing for 7 months here but new VO, New Delhi will start everything from scratch. It might take another 7-8 months or more.
I m screwed:(. What should I do?

Thanks

Why do you want to go back to India now?...Have you tried the OPT stuff after your US-F1 expiration? Did you finish your schooling? And why haven't you sent down the FBI certificate since you got it?..Please take time to think of what you really want before you move so that your whole life dont get stuck in Canada Immigration
There so many great ways to enjoy and life life in good ways ...think again!!!
