BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

That 9 month time includes the time the application stays in nova scotia , after which a transfer to Ottawa happens and CPP-O sends the AOR and medical forms.
We are all past those steps..in our case CPP-O should take less than that probable 6 months or even less.

it says that it "shows the time it takes to process an application after we receive a complete application package"

i'm a bit confused. My file was transferred to Seattle in March. And it says 18 months. So, its going to take 18 months from March? becuase, i've been waiting already for 19 month.

Hi guys I just got GCMS notes or whatever it is called. The problem is they haven't touch my file since the transfer (July 7). Therefore, I think this process is gonna take at least another year to get the PR.

That is very similar to what i got from my MP regarding my file.

It is a fact that the story might go well beyond 2013. It is unfair, I know, but we should find something to keep busy.

I personally look for Feb 2013, but who knows. lets see.

When was the updated date of GCMS? I think they should have mentioned medical expiry on your GCMS? Is it not there?

Yes they did. It said Medial: passed - expired

That is the only difference with the last GCMS notes from July 10.

Dear All,

Although I haven't got the PPR as yet but I am planning to get the PR visa in person from Detroit once I get the magic email.
I have few questions regarding getting the PR visa in person from Detroit rather
than mailing my PP.

Q. I am a QSW and planning to stay in Montreal but the issue is that when I will travel to
Detroit I am going to use greyhound services. The route which it takes to Montreal to
Detroit is through Toronto's border to US. When I am returning the greyhound will enter
Canada from Toronto...Can I land anywhere in Canada although I am a QSW? If I am allowed
to land anywhere in Canada What issues could I face at the border as I am a QSW?
Last question is not related to Detroit to VO.

Q . Is it possible that I apply for PR card after the landing and travel to my country . I
will ask my friend to mail me the PR card once he receives it. I know that I have to apply
for the PR from within CA and I cant come back without the PR card.

Last request that I have can someone please post the actual PPR letter for Detroit VO.

You can remove your personal details. It would really help us all what to expect once we
get the magic letter.

GUys!

My application was sent last march 2012 under category AINP!
Then when i check status online they already received my application for Permanent resident in april!
Follow up by Medical test on May 2012, and MAY same month my medical was done,
just wondering till now i havent yet recieve may PPR? do you any idea guys why it take so long! please help me or any idea why it takes so long to wait! or maybe because the Buffalo office was close? or how many the exactly months to wait!
till now still worrying, only i can do is to pray and be patience.
