I applied for PNP May 2011.
got medical done in Jan 2012.

I have submitted my applications online including fee for work permit extension at Oct. 29, 2012 under CSQ for a different employer. It's almost one month I did not heard anything from CIC. I heard that I can go to the nearest US border to collect my work permit. Is it true? I am living in Montreal. Any suggestions please.

But, i'm a Alberta PNP. So, is there any risk
in leaving the province that nomiated me?

Do you still remember when they updated you ECAS? Like how soon after sending your medical report?

At the Port of entry show your interest that you will live in Alberta . Like showing a job,
bank account, lease, give a address of Alberta where your PR card could be sent........etc.
Once you are a PR you can move anywhere in CA. Please check rights of PR on CIC or check pg259

Certified photocopies of each original from oath commissioner. Normally, such service is present in the
university itself.
