Appears that you did it correctly, I just highlighted your line with red as you haven't got your AOR yet. They do not send anything once they get your package but will sent you and AOR soon. SHould be within next week, if you provided your email address in the application.

Anyone worrying that you did something wrong and still didn't get your AOR, please calm down. You should get your AOR and likely SA before Christmas. Be patient

Are you a sponsor or being sponsored? If you are a sponsor, you will receive your AOR via mail, and after that you can update your contact details with an email.

I doubt there's anything bad that you could put into your application :) otherwise they would have returned it already

I don't believe in luck. I think it really depends on what CIC officer got your package, as I assume the whole thing is a manual process. Check your emails on Monday afternoon, I'm sure you will get a nice surprise ;)

Hi all, Good news. Just got the AOR. Application Recieved by CIC - Oct 16 AOR - Dec 4th

I've never heard anyone getting it with the past date. Usually it will depend on when your medical was done. If you did your meds in September, you will need to land by September next year, unless you did a new medical by CIC request.

As per above post, it depends on when your medical was done. If lets say you did your medical in September, and get your PR in July, you will have until September to enter Canada. You do not need to move out right though. You can simply enter Canada, get your papers and hop on the next flight back.
