    US outland applicants' thread :)

Well the letter does say that the application is waiting in queue now to be reviewed. I think our applications are near their final stages. CIC office probably has a very limited number of officials who have the power to make the final decision based on all the supporting documentation submitted...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Did they already ask you to submit police certificates if you haven't done so and that the application is now in queue to be reviewed by the visa office? I just see that you have applied at pretty much the same time as we did and wondering how your flow is going. :)

Lying in the sponsorship documentation, what can happen ??

Is there a divorce document at least? Or he got married twice? I think he maybe ok as long as he lets CIC know about it with proper divorce papers.

Importing a US vehicle that is already in Canada?

If importing a vehicle from US was that easy I would definitely buy one there, since they are a lot cheaper =).

Importing a US vehicle that is already in Canada?

This can be a hard one, my wife has actually sold hers before coming to Canada (after researching on this issue), because there was just too much trouble of importing it. First of all it has to be mechanically changed (day light running lights, seat belts, other stuff), this can run you into a...

    Inland Sponsorship - August 2013

Congrats! :D Did you guys get a chance to try out that inland test program, where you can receive a work permit while waiting for PR?

what's new about INLAND vs OUTLAND

Outland is still the best way to go in terms of time it takes to process. They do have some pilot program right now where inland applicants can start working before getting their complete PR application done, and I believe you have to apply to get that work permit, you don't get it...

    any red flags?

That's probably because Canada is very strict with providing marriage licenses, it's not an easy thing to get at all (applications, interviews, letter from lawyer if there was a previous marriage). In other countries this can be done way easier, hence Canadian marriage is valued as more authentic.

    any red flags?

You maybe right on that one, it really does depend which country the applicant is coming from to Canada as well.

    Bank Statements and Credit Card

I would not block it, there is no need to hide credit card information from CIC.. In fact they probably have your credit number already anyway, if that's what you used to pay the fees :)

    MARCH 2015 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS

Hi Canadianinlove and Sa3Sa3, if you don't mind me asking at which point did they say an interview will be required? I am just wondering if we have passed that stage or not. We have been exchanging emails with CIC to provide additional documents and then got an email (2 weeks ago) that...
