ok thanks, that's a good idea, I emailed and asked where the notes were, hopefully that works. I just don't understand why they don't request any further documents if there is an issue. is there a number I can call?

I requested my notes 35 days ago and I haven't received them yet. im getting really frustrated 9.5 months so far, they've made no contact with me for any information, im so confused when I see people getting through in a few months. is there a number I can call? I don't know what else to do...

I did all those things! its not even the timeline, I just wish there was some communication or an update on the status...my fear is they requested something and we didn't receive anything from them....but near the end!!! :)

I use my UCI number (sponsor) and my husbands info (applicant) cuz we've not gotten one for him yet, but that's the only way it works for us! it doesn't ever update, but that's a different story!

it is CRAZY to watch people fly through from this year though!!! we requested notes so we'll see whats up next week! :)

im 9 months in and I haven't heard anything since SA...so its not that quick for everyone! lots of people in my boat too!!!

you can and your partner can...you will just have to pay back whatever social assistance your partner draws over the next 3 years..

so you're husband (ex) was sponsoring you inland for PR? and you divorced halfway through and didn't receive your PR? or you applied for PR another way? im sorry i don't understand.

nice that they hung up on you!!! so it says you *may* not sponsor if... •get government financial help for reasons other than being disabled. i think it just means that if you're receiving money... and its not cut and dry so just try and make as best a case you can, if its possible throw in...

yes I am a Canadian citizen, and we did outland... i was scared to leave cuz i thought he would have a specific landing date to get his PR ie if its not processed before we leave then we can simply get an extension for his landing?

So its been almost 9 months since my husbands PR application has been received, and we would like to travel to New Zealand for 6 months or so... my husbands medical was done on Sept 19th, so I assume that he would have to land by that time (hes already here) I really don't want to start this...
