How I organized our applcation and a summary of all helpful tips I have learned

what i ended up doing is created a word document (called appendix) and each question that "needed" extra space i wrote "See appendix" for instance. And then in the appendix file i would make a reference "IMM 2564 - question 6 supplement" for instance. I ended up having 2 appendix word documents...

But so remove confusion, what i recomend, and what i did was to get teh reciept from teh doctor, and just write a one-pager stating...

Depends who you are? are you the sponsor or the principal applicant? Its 5 photos of the principal applicant and any other co-applicants NOTE: Sponsor is already a Canadian citizen, and doesn't need to supply any photos.

How I organized our applcation and a summary of all helpful tips I have learned

very nice, but it specifically says in the guide notes that you shouldn't use any binders, paper clips or plastic folders...........look like you used about 2kg worth of gear :) hehe I think you have to though, i initially used a lot of plastic and some binders, then at the end i read "don't...

    Medical insurance

Question, did you try to get medical prior to the 3 month period? do you know how they check how long you have been in the country? How about a local driver licence, would that work for for proof of ID?

    Average Outland Processing Time

sent my application in less than 3 months ago, and now they have my passport so guesstimating 1-2 more weeks. Depends mostly on your local VISA office i think. We sent the original Sponsor/PR package to Mississauga and only 2 weeks later it was with the local VISA office here.

    Landing & processing procedure

if the plane just stops for fuel, she wouldn't leave the airport (international section) hence her landing would be in Toronto. Some questions i have heard is like, whats your name? yours spouse's name? and your address?

Decision Made but have not heard!

I think it also depends where you are applying, inland vs outland and also on the individual VISA office (if outland) in my case, they have my passport since a few weeks ago, assuming "decision has been made" but zero updates on the e-cas system (latest update i have is "application received" )

Did I send my package to the wrong address?!?!?!

I'm pretty sure they will get the package regardless. When i sent in my passport here in Hong Kong i actually sent it to the right address, which was a PO box. Kept looking online to see if it was delivered or not, just to see the next day "delivery was unsuccessful" and i was FREAKING out...

do i need a PR card to apply for job? or just the SIN?

Looked this up actually, by law you only need the number. Some employers might ask for it, just tell them you just got here and can show them the actual card later if they still needed.
