    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

I haven't got mine yet, but I'll let you know when I get them :) I don't know, it just helps me cope to be actively doing something and ordering my caips is the only thing I could think of doing at this point. Plus it was free, so what the heck.

Ouch, sorry to here that. That must have been tough to hear. Yes, getting married will improve your application. Did you apply inland or outland? You can appeal if you applied outland. What did they say the reason was for the denial?

    Right of Permanent Residence Fee

Copied timeline from austin2calgary from this forum http://www.roadtocanada.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=252 We were in the same boat and did not submit ours until late in the process. Oddly enough, we submitted it at about the same time they sent a request for it. Not really sure if it slowed...

    TB test positive

Hi, I use to work in a theraputic day school for children who have emotional, behavioral difficulties and abuse related problems. It was here that I was exposed to TB. I took the TB test before I started working there and it was negative and then after I left the agency and it was positive...

    Medicals?

Here is another thread about the pro's and con's of inland and outland applications. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inland-vs-outland-t40460.0.html Can a person applying inland apply for a temp work visa??

Medical exam better done before or after submitting application?

I agree. It seem like the visa offices misplace things when sent separately or it delays the process. Any time they have to request something it appears to slow down things. This is just what I've gathered from reading other peoples posts and my own experience. Those that send things in together...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Cherlyn, I was trying to think of ways of making you feel better. I wish that I could make our PPR's magically appear. But all I've got is this. Have you ordered a CAIPS File check yet. I just ordered mine a few days ago. They said it can take up to a month for them to get the notes to you, but...

    Why do I bother.....

Or maybe just post the number of +'s people have. It would give people positive reinforcement to response without the punishment of getting a -. Increasing the responding and giving people something to strive for. Sorry I'm a unemployed behavior analyst, this is the kind of stuff that I do...

    Why do I bother.....

Try not to get upset and for goodness sake don't stop posting just because someone doesn't like what you have to say. I need you all to respond to my questions whether I like the answer or not, or whether I care to admit that your right or not. You keep me sane through all this. Immigration is...

getting a temp work permit while waiting for outland PR application

I'm in Canada visiting my husband while my PR is in process. I'm in the final stages of getting my PPR. While I've been here I've been offered a job which I can't take until I get my PPR. We could really use the money right now. My husband was laid off last year in the USA and we had to move...

    Thread for outland Buffalo applicants!

Nope, those are the posted Buffalo Visa office hours. I'm sure that they would have included a Saturday or Sunday in that list if they did work more days. I'm with you Kess, I went into the wrong line of work. I work 50 hours a week! 32 hour work week sounds pretty good. Short hours with lots of...
