Post ITA question after 13th draw regarding uploading documents

In our case (CEC), it asked for all pages with stamps, visas, etc. Not just the biodata page.

Does XXX have a job offer in Canada?

We chose 'Yes', as I don't think they are asking for an LMIA-supported job offer in the first question. Why would they be asking the same thing twice? They would just ask 'Have you got an LMIA-supported job offer in Canada?'.

Canadian son is accompanying or not accompnaying in my PR application

Once you complete all the information in all the fields (for yourself, your partner and your child), you will click 'Next' and then you will get a screen with various documents to upload. That's where you will upload the letter of explanation and the birth certificate. Your child is not...

Canadian son is accompanying or not accompnaying in my PR application

Upload an explanation letter instead of the passport/ID. Attach the birth certificate, too. Make sure the letter of explanation + birth certificate are one file. If you upload more than one file, then all the previous files will get deleted!

Canadian son is accompanying or not accompnaying in my PR application

We wrote that we have 1 child. The question is quite obvious 'Do you or don't you have any children?'. It doesn't ask 'Do you have children that aren't Canadian?', right? So the true answer to the first questions is 'Yes, I have one child', but my child is not accompanying me (accompanying...

A bit shocked about things in our checklist

How does the Letter of Employment differ from Employment records? In the instructions for Employment records it says to state the current position, responsibilities, hours, etc. Seems like the same thing.

A bit shocked about things in our checklist

So we finally got to our checklist and a few things surprised me. I (the spouse) have been asked for the following: - Employment records of employment both abroad and in Canada (we got 0 points for this) - Diplomas/degrees (again we got 0 points for this) The main applicant got asked for: -...

    Guidelines for translations (outside Canada)

Yelena, I have the same thing under my Polish translations. The translator (certified and sworn) said she is not going to sign an affidavit as when she took her exam and oath she did it in front of a judge. That is more powerful than signing something in front of a notary.
