@ AAshay I am in the same shoes, waiting on my EB2 GC! I am from Bombay,but I don't think I could return to India after 15 plus here. The job market in Canada is dismal, even with 10 plus years of US experience.

Why can't you plan on staying overnight at an airport hotel, and flying to Halifax the next day?

That is a gray area, but most people do it. There really isn't any rule that prevents them from sending it, but i am pretty sure CIC frowns on the practice.

I have never received my PR card having landed in May 2012. I applied for a new PR card in June 2014, and found out today that CIC has referred my case to a local CIC office. Technically I can still get the 2 years out of 5, so what does this mean? Any ideas?

Nothing yet! Its been over 2 weeks since they have a status of processing on the CIC website.

I just checked the CIC site, and it said that my new PR card was in processing. Does anyone have an estimate of how long it will take to finish the processing and mailed? Thanks

Is there a provider that provides real street addresses for receiving PR cards? There is a service provider called hotsnailmail in Australia. I would be grateful if y'all provided me any input.

Leon, I never got my original PR and I am back in Canada applying for a new card ; the form asks for a date range of your absence from Canada and also about your employment status since you became PR; how important is this if you plan to leave again and come back only in time to get a little...

No I mean, if someone is already working in the US, and they attempt to enter Canada with just a COPR, will they be bounced?
