I have lost all hope of US immigration. I thought AINP/CIC was much better but I have lost hope there too. I guess it's time to go back to my home country and hope for the best!!!!

I look at the recent file numbers 3759 and the last known file number to get nomination was 664. hmmmm. Wats AINP doing!!!!!

I think with AINP the outliers seem to be increasing over a period of time.

But there are applicants like Deveshjaitley who have exceeded the 129 day mark. File# received on Feb 20th and still waiting for nomination. May be there are more applicants like him!!!! So looks like the AINP is not sticking to the 4 + 4 timeline that they have mentioned!!!!!

I would go for the fingerprint option

Does anyone know how much time it takes to get nomination after one receives the file number. Is it 4 months or 8 months?????

well someone got nomination today. I think it was nick_s and his file number was 66X. 14XX is gonna be a long wait by the look of things!!!!

It's already July. Hopefully Feb Applicants (Old Process) should start getting nominations this month!!!!!

Yes I guess the only thing that applicants who got file numbers in March can do is wait (Old Process Pre-assessment). Hopefully we start getting nomination end of this month

I think 1 year is being a bit optimistic. Looking at trend 2 years seems more realisitic LOL!!!!

I am not sure how long CIR will take. I think unless the economy improves passage of CIR is highly unlikely this year. It will fail again as in 2007. Lets pray that the economy starts picking up soon and unemployment reduces!!!!!!

yup sitaution is getting worse. There are still a lot of folks from old process who have not gotten nomination!!!!!

oh wow file numbers are at 37XX. I read some where in the forum that AINP is issuing a max of 70 nominations per month. I guess the last file no to receive nomination was 66X. So that means almost 3100 applicants still left to process. The math does not add up. If it is only 70 nominations per...

There seems to be such a big lag in processing. People from the 5XX range have still not got nomination!!!!!!

There seems to be less activity as days are going by. Has AINP completely stopped sending nominations. I was planning to go back to my home country and applying from there but looks like I will have to stay here till I get nomination and re-apply for all my PCC's
