Hello - I applied under 2174 and 2171 & file received on 14th may - in how many days will my consultant get an email saying it's positive eligibility review & give him the client ID number for my application ? Is it 8 weeks ? I paid using demand draft- thanks !

No, that's a dumb idea, DD is much more safer, CC are mostly rejected = thanks to fraud alert setup by banks !

Applications DO NOT reach in 1 day from India even if you have selected DHL Express or Fedex Express or any EXPRESS service, it took 8 days for my app to reach them INCLUDING weekend days.

So if someone has lived in USA (for last 8 years) & India before that, they need multiple police certificates and FBI clearance (is it at national level in USA or are there state based police clearances required)? How painful is the process?

I heavily doubt the responses here, CIC can do anything they want..including calls-visits etc. It's their country so their rules :(

Its unfortunate and sad but most probably all of our hardwork on WES/IELTS/Paper-work/Dreams/Sleep-less nights to get letters will be a WASTE along with all the money agencies have eaten up if FSW 2014 is not opening up :(

Why are you guys sending in applications since last month when the positions under FSW for 2015 have NOT even opened and will only open on May 4th ?
