Hi All Was just going through some of the cases in trackitt and realized that Buffalo is transferring files to other offices(within US).. Is anyone aware of this phenomenon??Is this done for FSW1 category or other categories? cheers!

Hi Form my experinece I would suggest that it's always a good and safe idea to apply to your home country visa office..The worst will be when have an interview to attend in a foreig country and you can't travel due to visa restrictions.. Not sure if anyone has experienced getting a US visitor...

I suppose the layoff's in NS office is giving a tip to Buffalo visa clerks to process the applications at a much slower pace..This way backlog will continue to exist forever and we will continue seeing the same status in e-cas for years to come.. Wow..what a -ve thinking..:)

Well,the speed at which some of the cic visa offices(esp. the big BULL-Buffalo)is working,the market demand patterns will change drastically by the time an individual gets his visa..lol..

You are right Rupesh...It's really unfortunate that Nov 2008 backlog is yet to be cleared... Have you heard of any recent success story from Buffalo? I heard that they have some yearly quota too and if that's being fulfilled,they will take the new lot of applications next year..Again not sure...
