It used to take 12-14 weeks earlier. But the processing speeds vary all the time. You have to interpret how much time your appln is going to take by following current trends. Refer to other FBI PCC related threads and check other people's timelines. I got mine in around 2 months and thats what...

Firstly, it does not take 4 months for FBI processing. It takes around 2-3 months based on current speeds. If you get your FBI report soon (eg 2 months) and lets say your fingerprints got rejected, then immediately apply again sending a fresh set of prints. Also in this case, wait till the end...
