Does IRCC let you know the reason for rejection?

Hi,

I would like to know if IRCC tells you in detail the reason for rejection of your application or do they just reject it like they reject US tourist visas of applicants without telling any reason? Also if your application gets rejected is there a way you can contest and prove your point maybe by providing supporting documents?

They give you reasons for the refusal.

You can appeal. An appeal can be successful if CIC was mistaken in their decision. However if you didn't supply enough or the right documents with your application, an appeal is typically refused. So it's extremely important to ensure you submit a complete application with all of the required paperwork.
