Let us guess cutoff score for next draw!

For sure? After just one draw, which was very small in number and has probably taken most of the LMIA candidates?

    Elusive, aren't they. :)

EE - house of commons discussion on EE. Good read !

Thanks, a curious read. "We are very highly transparent. People in the pool will be able to see how they're ranked and what's occurring in the draw every two weeks." I wish they followed on that promise. We still don't really know how we're ranked.

Why Canada .. Why Not Australia?

That shouldn't be possible. Can you elaborate?

!!! GET ADDED TO EE SPREADSHEET !!! ITA people please update your entries

Re: !!! GET ADDED TO EE SPREADSHEET !!! Agree completely. Everyone, there is just as much need for a spreadsheet as before, if not more so. First of all, CIC didn't release any statistics regarding the pool (total number of applicants, score distribution) after the first draw and I don't think...

First time I heard about paper submissions under EE. Could you please provide a source for this information?

I see you added a graph to the spreadsheet. Thanks a lot, and +1 to you too (pending due to karma).

    EE spreadsheet score distribution

It's possible that some of those people didn't receive ITA. Maybe, for example, they only have a regular job offer, without LMIA, but still claimed +600 points in the spreadsheet. Or they have a PNP nomination from the last year, which, as far as I know, would be ignored by CIC for purposes of...

    EE spreadsheet score distribution

No, y axis is just the number of applicants, without any coefficients. So each small spike in the right part of the graph is just a single applicant. Don't forget, there's only ~650 people in the spreadsheet as of yet. The actual number may be 30x times that.

EE is unfair in its selection process for full-timers working in Canada on PGWP

They just want to make sure they won't have to hunt that person down and forcefully remove him from the country if his student visa ends and he couldn't receive a permanent residency.

EE is unfair in its selection process for full-timers working in Canada on PGWP

Well, a quick glance over CIC's website shows phrases such as "If you want to stay in Canada as a permanent resident after you graduate, there are a number of programs available, each with its own requirements" If it were such a criminal act as you describe, why would CIC themselves provide this...

EE is unfair in its selection process for full-timers working in Canada on PGWP

Please clarify, are Canadian provinces also in on the fraud? For example, Ontario nominates international students for permanent residency; how does that fit into the picture you described?

EE is unfair in its selection process for full-timers working in Canada on PGWP

People spent their time and money in hopes of achieving something which became unachievable by the time they were done. People may be very much let down by this turn of events without feeling they were buying anything.

    EE spreadsheet score distribution

Here's a histogram showing the distribution of scores of EE applicants according to the spreadsheet: http://i.imgur.com/B40wwlo.png As expected, there is a big gap between the lowest LMIA scores and the highest non-LMIA scores. (btw, I think it would be great to add such a chart to the...

Why are there so few people in the spreadsheet?

Sure, I was wrong. There were only 600+ applicants in FSWP 2014 spreadsheet on June 1 (1 or 2 months after its creation), and applicants added themselves to the spreadsheet with a rather even rate.

Why are there so few people in the spreadsheet?

I know that some of the entries created on January 1 have numbers beginning with E000217XXX and E000218XXX. Maybe the system had some test applicants, and they didn't reset the numbering. :) 18k in the first hours of January 1 seems a bit too much. Also, on a different forum, somebody who...
