rrdiggy76 - Yup, i wasn't aware there was anything different about it compared to my dads new photocard licence from a few years ago, but they didn't recognise it and took some convincing! When i went in to officially change it i brought in a page from the DVLA showing the licence just in case...

Another member brought this up and i was wondering what the average age is of people applying? Has it caused you any problems? How are you coping/did you cope with the visa process? Are the younger people finding it easier or harder to relocate their whole lives? I think i was probably one...

Katie, just to point out about the age thing, i was 19 at the time of applying and my hubby 20 (now 20 & 21) but we got approved fine with no interview :)

In mym medical they weren't satisfied that i was completely healthy mentally therefore they later requested that i go to a psychiatrist and get a report to say i was fine :) That's the only document i had requested of me throughout the process (except my passport obviously ;))

I agree with nyssa, i'd try to put everyone on there because lets face it, it cant hurt your case showing hes met -everyone-! I think i only put the immidiate family my hubby met on his visits but i also hadn't found this forum at that point, otherwise i probably would have listed everyone :P...

Nicdao - Hopefully you have some luck getting a tracking number, or conformation that it arrived safely! I know how stressful it can be not having your passport with you! stacey - it can come by either, it depends on the processing office i believe. I got mine by mail :)

I never got a letter containing it myself until the PPR, i did submit an enquiry at one point via the website though and they relpied with my B number in the subject line (i used my client ID to submit the question)

East coast - i'd wait until you recieve the B number then try again, my hubby still can't log in with his client ID or the reciept number -n never could! :)

My current quotes for a shared container from the UK to calgary door to door currently range from £900-£1500 our things are 40 small boxes no furniture etc as it really is going to save you money to buy it here - shipping is very expensive!

I just made a table in microsoft word showing how many of the item, what the item was, how much is was worth (make sure its in canadian dollars!) and listed it as what was in each box to make it easier all round. When i landed yest that was all fine and in fact by listing it in boxes seperatly...
