IS"E-CAS" REALLY RELIABLE FOR OUR STATUS?

is "E-CAS Really reliable to our status.?

It varies from person to person, i couldnt even access E-Cas until i got my PPR and now i've landed it still says 'descision made - we will contact you regarding this descision' lol!

I am not able to access e-cas either and my appliation was approved to Sponsor June 1/10...ugh!

LOL i would not rely on Ecas at all.My app has been in since April it went to in Process In April and has not changed at all even though lots of things have gone on since then.She has her interview date with letters from them still in PROCESS.

The sponsor uses the client number 0000-0000 then all their info right,
or the applicant can use immigration file number B000000000 and enters all their info.
The surname for the woman is the one u used on the app if you use your married name or maiden name you must use it.
If you did this then??????Sorry

As the sponsor, I used my info with the client #, also tried with receipt # but no luck. No B-file number yet for my hubby the applicant. I even tried mixing it up when this didn't work and used his info with the client # (even though I KNEW it wouldn't work). Called the call centre and they had no answers for me, tried telling me e-cas is having problems, but it's funny most other people can log on, even ones that applied after me. Anyway, guess I will just have to hope for the best and pray it's actually in process by now and not on someone's desk or in a drawer somewhere. I know e-cas doesn't give you any info really, but for my sanity I really need to read "in process", then I can chill a bit (maybe).

When logging into e-cas remeber to use your sponsor's client ID number. I tried using my id number I got from my visitor record, but it didn't work. The E-cas will be listed under your sponsor's name and their Client ID number

Thanks jmni1, that is what I am doing but it doesn't work unfortunately.

Did your husband not get his letter yet from the visa office its been over a month since you were approved?Well if it makes it any better i was approved to sponsor may5th and we didnt get the letter in Brazil to my wife until around April12th.

iarblue, sorry for my confusion but you were approved May 5th, but she got the letter April 12th?? Typo??

He has not received a letter, he appointed me his representative so from my understanding, I should get all letters and other forms of communication?! The mail system is DR is pretty corrupt, so not sure they would mail him something there...he would likely never receive it. I did send off an email to Santo Domingo (visa Office) but still haven't heard anything and don't really expect to. If I don't hear anything by mid August, may contact my MP...we'll see.

East coast - i'd wait until you recieve the B number then try again, my hubby still can't log in with his client ID or the reciept number -n never could!

It was a typo lol i fixed it thanks,and yeah just wait till you get his letter from the visa office like silver said.It will have his B file number.

Okay, I guess my next question is how long does it typically take to receive this letter with B-file #??
