    Hong Kong Police Certificate

Thanks for the info! I just emailed CIC yesterday for checking since mine was sent on Oct 13 by HK Police. Barring any major international mail loss catastrophy I can assume mine was also received by CIC :)

Years of experience to declare for EE

If people are not panicking once in a while when they prepare the applications, they are not preparing hard enough. The whole thing started when you slipped in a cheap shot implying that my post was misleading the OP. Did I not agree with you that the pay slips are not mandatory on my post...

Years of experience to declare for EE

Okay, climb off your senior high horse and stop talking like having 1,000 posts is a life time achievement and warrants your superiority. There are more than hundreds of people who have posted ten times more than yours. You are not even a VIP. Since you are the one who actually picked two...

Years of experience to declare for EE

If you read my post with a less condescending mind you would notice I was describing 'solid proof'. It was different from 'just proof'. The purpose for a solid proof is to reduce the possibility of being rejected by IRCC. It was totally different from just passing the hurdles. If my advise...

Years of experience to declare for EE

True - pay slips are not required, but they will certainly add to the credibility. It's the good to have kind of document.

Years of experience to declare for EE

There are two separate purposes regarding disclosing work experiences in an EE application. a) You claim work experiences for CRS points in order to get invited for immigration application. b) you are required to disclose personal history (work, study, unemployment, etc) in the past 10 years...

1 year Continuous work experience requirements for EE

I echo Raz0r's comment above. Also I would like to add below - If you are applying for Express Entry via Federal Skilled Worker program, you need to meet the following standards http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp 1. minimum one year continuous work experience from a...

1 year Continuous work experience requirements for EE

Maybe you could share with us why your job allowed you to take these long vacations? It was not normal at all unless you are self employed and work on your own schedules. Even one 6-month break already seems suspicious for you to still claim you were on a full-time employment and you have...

1 year Continuous work experience requirements for EE

I was about to say exactly the same as those by Raz0r. You will pass the minimum eligibility hurdle as long as your experience from 2011 to 2014 was continuous, full time and belonging to a NOC 0/A/B category. That said you will still need to supply detailed employment reference to support it...

1 year Continuous work experience requirements for EE

Your experience from 2011 to 2014 was continuous, correct?

Do we need ECA for Spouse?

Of course you can and if you already got 419 without claiming points from your spouse' education, you definitely should! Given the last Rounds of Invitation scores, if you get closer to 430 territory, you are in striking distance for an NOI. Meanwhile, you absolutely don't have to have your...

CIC requested another scan of my IELTS

That was the most likely reason. They couldn't open the pdf so they didn't know what it really was.

CIC requested another scan of my IELTS

Well if I understand correctly IELT report is NOT a required document but people just upload it together with the education credentials anyway. I guess that's why IRCC did not reject the application at the first place but rather asked for a re-upload.

    Hong Kong Police Certificate

I did. I attached the receipt, estimated report arrival time at IRCC, attached the ID that I applied the HK PCC with, and explained in the LOE the possibility that it might take more than 60 days because the processing time required by HK police and their choice of regular registered mail...

Thanks for the correction! I already forgot how much I paid :)

    PCC

If I were you I'd get the UK one for the wife if time allows. I know the official policy says you need one if you stayed in a foreign country for more than 6 months, but a 5-month staying is borderline. Besides it doesn't require a lot of efforts to get one from UK anyway. You just need to...

    Hong Kong Police Certificate

From what I read regular registered mails from HK shall reach IRCC in 3-4 weeks.

    Hong Kong Police Certificate

My time line is almost identical to yours. My HK PCC application was accepted by HK police on Sep 21, and the reports were mailed out on Oct 13. My 60-day period ends on mid Nov as well. Wish speedy delivery and even faster IRCC process for all of us!

    QUERY ABOUT WORK EXPERIENCE

I think your friend is fine. A two-week gap between two employers in identical jobs (I suppose) won't be that different from taking a two-week vacation in a single job. Of course she needs to show on the references the these two jobs are the same from NOC point of view. Besides, she already...
