Hi.. just to give you guys an update.. Today we got an email from CIC stating that we would have to pay an additional $100 for the OWP application! I believe they will start working on it soon enough! Cheers

Pures Toros, thank you for the info! I applied back in March 19 and nothing yet. I did call CIC and no useful information from the agent. Do you mind sharing where did you hear about the delays?

Yeah, that sucks.. I applied to extend my SP and my wife's OWP back in March 19 and nothing yet (although I heard cases that have been approved already) But it is a looong waiting..

We did actually, mentioning “an update” on our application! That happened 3 times. But when we checked, the application status was the same!

We called CIC regarding our application. According to the agent, everything is within processing times and we should wait, as at this point they are working on applications submitted on March 14 :( Which does not make any sense as many people got the approval before that, even applying after...

Yeah, I am curious as well !! I applied back in March and also no news yet.. my husband will call CIC today, but I was hoping to know if they explain anything to you!

Online! Processing time on CIC website is 60 days.. so unfortunately it is still within the expected time, but this waiting is just driving me crazy
