1 Year Work Permit Only, when to apply for CEC?

Might be a small possibility but do you also have Australian citizenship? You can get an IEC work permit with an Australian passport even if you've had an IEC on a NZ passport. If not them you'd need a LMIA from your employer to keep working or look at the PNP/FSW method of PR. With the PNP...

    Need help regarding implied status!

Then, yes, you qualify to work on implied status. However proving this to employers is difficult, show them the link provided by LPS above and proof that you've applied for your work permit. Not much else you can do, unless your HR people know much about work permits.

1 Year Work Permit Only, when to apply for CEC?

You could also look into the Provincial nominee program in your area, you may be eligible for PR that way.

    Need help regarding implied status!

It depends on what work permit you hold. Do you hold PGWP, Twp, IEC, etc work permit? If it specifically states that it's not extendable then you cannot work during implied status.

Landing - Can I wait two and half months?

There are two expiry dates btw, either one year from your medical or when your passport expires. Just make sure you get in before the earlier of those dates.

    CEC eligibility

You'll need to find a work permit to bridge that gap. How you tried asking your work if they'll sponsor a work permit? They've changed the rules but previously you didn't need to advertise if you were employing someone on a pgwp (again, that might have changed last week and it might be best...

    BOWP approved after IEC expired?

It's not really a 'sigh' situation, IEC work permits are not extendable unless you're extending it based on your LOI (so if you were only given 6 months due to a passport expiring or something). As IEC work permits are not extendable then you don't benefit from Implied status for working...

    BOWP approved after IEC expired?

No, IEC participants don't benefit from implied status allowing them to work. If your BOWP isn't approved before your IEC expires then you have to stop working. You don't need to apply to extend your stay as a visitor, you'll be on implied status as a visitor between your IEC expiration and...

    Vancouver Or Calgary.

Climate wise you'll be quite familiar with Vancouver, it's in an area that is very similar to England though it's rains a little more, for instance Manchester gets 800mm of rain a year and Vancouver gets about 1600mm. Work wise you'll personally be better in Calgary, there are more...

    need help with visa?

I'm going to assume that your partner is a 'skilled worker' as she's coming over as a nurse, as she's coming over as a skilled worker it means that you can qualify for a spousal open work permit. Are you married? Or in a common law relationship (lived together for a year)?

    Rejection on Medical basis?

I'm pretty sure they only check for HIV and syphilis, and not against the broad range of STDs. If you are found inadmissible then you would have to challenge it to prove that you can cover the cost of treatment (I'm fairly sure Herpes is quite manageable and fairly inexpensive). Good luck...

what should i take - CELPIP or IELTS?

I did IELTS but I imagine it's best to do the first one available and to get it out of the way. Anyway, from what I understand the only real difference is that the speaking part of CELPIP is done with a computer and IELTS is done with an actual person. I've done enough Rosetta Stone to know...

Yea, you have to do the language test (English or French). The the language test should be mandatory for all streams of immigration, you'd think.
