Bad news for TFW under food service processing their LMO

Why would it be difficult to train Canadians? They're no more or less stupid than any other nationalties....

Landing at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver?

I love taking that train down to Seattle, in fact it was my first PoE into Vancouver and a lot of people don't even know it exists. I didn't do my landing there but I've had a work permit issued, so I don't imagine it'd be a problem.

Just landed about 3 hours ago at Point Roberts. I decided to walk back from Point Roberts to Tsawwassen ferry terminal, I'll never make that mistake ever again.... There were a few other people landing too, but it was fairly quiet and quick, if anyone is thinking of landing there.

I had to provide extra details for travel and previous history. For both I created a table in Word in the same format as the forms. In each one I gave my UCI, app #, name, etc, just in case it got lost or something. I mailed my Schedule A through Canada Post but you could also save as a PDF...

Worked illegally for few months, will most likely get a rejection?!

Heh, I personally think London is one of the greatest cities in the world and can offer so many opportunities to anyone who lives there, and I'm disappointed I only got a year there. I'm from Manchester btw, so I'm not bias or whatever. I'm sure Apexis might love it.

Ready to apply on April 1st, but unsure about paid vacation

Mate, no one can stop you sending the forms you've got now but I would personally give myself more of a buffer to allow the VO the benefit of doubt. I'd send them closer to May/June, tbh.

I received my CoPR today, a week after my Decision Made. There are two copies, one with my photo and one without, do I take both to the border? And should I correct them with my original entry point?

My landing experience @ Tsawwassen BC

Re: My landing experience @ Tsawwassen BC Yea, it's just that I kinda switch my brain off from the time I get on the bus and when I arrive at the Skytrain, I just assumed that it was highways and never really researched Point Roberts. It'd be much easier to head there than transfer onto...

My landing experience @ Tsawwassen BC

Re: My landing experience @ Tsawwassen BC I live in Victoria and I'm looking for an easy way to land, but I'm fairly sure I'll have to leave the Island to do that. Is it easy to get to Point Roberts from Tsawwassen Bay?

    Generic Application Form

I left it blank and it seems to have been fine. I reckon most VOs are smart enough to figure it out.

    does cic keep previous documents?

Yea, I would imagine that legally they have to keep documents for X number of years. They're so busy that the likelihood of them looking is slim, unless they are given a suspicious/particular reason to look back.

    question about paid holidays?

I don't think it'll get to 12000 until at least some time in the summer, so you'll be fine. Unless there is a sudden rush of applications. As for payslips, I provided the two payslips for the month prior to applying and it confirmed my pay, hours and employer. I don't recall it being a...

    CELPIP or IELTS??

I opted for ielts (i'm British too) and found it easy enough. Tbh I'd go for whichever has the first available date. I got three 9s and one 8.5 in my test, I'm sure you won't have any difficulties.

Mate, you really just need to stay calm and patient. Have a look in your spam/junk folder and see if you missed the emails, you could order your gcms notes and see what's going on with your application. What's your ecas like, any updates? If you want to you could do your medical exam and...

    Implied Status - Clarification

Yes, BOWP is the correct work permit to apply for. As for implied status, there doesn't seem to be much clarification whether those on IEC actually get implied status due to the 'cannot be extended' part on the permit. However, you should get it before may, so you probably don't need to worry...
