I called cic yesterday and asked directly for uci number attached to my application. For the first time, the agent was willing to look it up! He took all my details and then came back and said that my application was returned on Dec 17th. He would not disclose the reason over the phone but said...

That is crazy!! I also sent my app in October... Oct 27th it reached CIC. I too sent by DHL and have the proof of delivery printed out. No news, not even charging till now. Don't know what the heck is going on! Hope they're not losing our app packages! >:(

Good question. I'm also curious about this, although it may be difficult to tell overall. 27th Oct applicant here still waiting. No news. Not even a cc charge yet! And CIC refuse to give out uci number no matter how many times I call.
