Good news! Have patience my friend. If you will look SS after asking additional documents it took 7 to 15 days for nomination. Your nomination is on the way.
Be positive...

You said last Monday ie 06 april or 30 march ?
Even if it is 30th march, you dont need to worry because last week was the long weekend.

On which date your application reached and when did you got AOR. Please make entry in SS.
Thanks drajpoot, I have updated the SS. It's Feb21 I got AOR, and 06April got their letter

Hi Guys,

I was requested to provide additional documents on last Monday, and I fulfilled the request on last Wed. But now, more than a week has passed, I have heard nothing from their office. Considering most of applicants got their nomination letter in 2-3 days. I am tensed that they might intend to reject me as I chose Toronto as my destination in FSW which they also asked me to provide a copy.

I also applied to NS last year, but capped. it looks like they don't care about the previous application.

Anyone please offer some suggestion?

Thanks

In the above statement you said its more than a week has passed. and now you say 6th April you got their letter?
And also you said Wednesday you replied means yesterday on 8th April. So how it became more than a week ????? I did not understand

Hi guys.
I got AOR on April 3 and sent my EE profile&Job Seeker Validation No on April 8.
(My application reached at NS on January 14.)
While I was creating my EE profile, I got to wonder if I may face some problems getting the nomination or the invitation.

The reason is that my birthday is April 19 and some people say the CIC automatically deduct the age point on the birthday.
So if that is right, my total points drop down to 66 on my birthday and no longer eligible for EE FSW.

I have some questions regarding my issue and I understand there are some members whose total points are 67.
So if you have any idea about my questions, please reply.

1. Do I become ineligible for EE FSW after my birthday?
- Does my FSW status become "Not Met"?
- Or does my FSW status remain "Met" and just my CRS - Human Capital - Age points decrease?
- I don't get why they deduct age points, while they say EE profile is valid for 1 year.

2. Would I get the nomination?
- I understand it takes about 1 and a half month to get the nomination after AOR these days.
- By the time NSOI refers to my EE profile for the nomination, my points would be 66(If I don't get more points by then)

3. What about the selection factors/points in the Application Guide?
- On page 9 it clearly says "You will receive points for your age on the date that we receive your complete application
to NSOI and application for permanent residence to CIC."

Anyway, I applied for 1 more IELTS test today and will ask my wife to take one just in case.

Thanks.

That's right. They took of 5 points from my application a few weeks ago (midnight my birthday). FSW would count your points through CRS. What are your points on EE website. If you are eligible through the CRS, then you should be safe. I would think that once you are nominated, you get additional 600 points on CRS. Anyways, I am not sure if you want to spend time or not, but you can try to improve your IELTS score (if u already don't have the maximum score :) ). Perhaps you can wait for a reply from somebody who has been through this uniques situation as yours.

My question is, if Zhd3535 improves his IELTS score, how will he notify Nova scotia of the new score line that will improve his situation.
I have a similar case but my birthday comes up on 09/09.
Thank you

Normally the points would be evaluated for the day your application reached the office. because that is what you used to submit your application. If it takes them one year to assess an application then that candidate is definitely going to lose points (may be gain if he turns 19 yrs, but lets consider the worse scenario). So office is bound to give you that benefit if your application reached them before your birthday. I think Zhd3535 should be safe here.

Hi drajpoot. Where are you getting this info that there is a cap of 350?? It is not mentioned anywhere on their NS Demand EE page or in the app guide!

Hi Friends,
Still hoping to get AOR in coming days but as the process is going, i suspect that cap is over because there is no AOR from last 2 days. Keeping finger cross...

Hello lyndzkiel,
Please do not give up now, you still hold on as it is not yet over until it has been officially declared over.

Please read carefully..The cap is 1050 and not 350. The quota has increased by 350 this year...

"The stream comes with 350 new immigration nominations, bringing the total in 2015 to 1,050, up from 700 in 2014. "
