I totally agree with you! I used to do everything by paper. It just the last time I renewed my WP by paper, it took me almost 5 months as opposed to 2 months by electronic... lol I think I will email the doc to question@cic.gc.ca. And congrats on your OWP!!!

I did answer these questions. You cannot really apply unless you do the quiz. I just read a thread and learned that someone with AOR holder was rejected and he/she did not include the AOR email. I guess that person had the same understanding as well.

That's odd... I am not sure why you would need a visitor visa to stay when you already have a valid WP in the first place... I know they will not issue any documents that exceeds your passport validity date but I've never hard of this one. You should call the centre for options...

You can apply within Canada but you need to have a valid document to stay in Canada upon applying (30 days before your status expires). I am not sure how long the visitor visa is supposed to be, though.

Patience. I've read one Feb applicant got his/her application returned. So if your application has not been returned yet, I am sure you are ok. My AOR came in 2wks before my PGWO expired. So you have plenty of time before July. Good luck.

Hi Karioca, I did not indicate my employer's name and typed "applying for bridging open work permit". OWP does not require your employers name.
