Medical not required. I submitted my application, did my biometrics, then nothing. Eligibility review doesn't even show as started, although apparently that is normal for some visa offices. I obtained my GCMS notes dated July 7th and they hadn't even started on the file.

I believe it is still sensible to formulate a plan for quarantine, and to have that available for scrutiny if required. The only real bit of interest is that you no longer have to quarantine while waiting for the result of your arrival test.

I have had no reply to my web form either. Let us hope for a positive outcome, and before August 6th. Not long to go.

It took a month to get the notes, and I applied with GC Key not showing eligibility started. It still doesn't show as started. I wanted to see if anything was going on behind the scenes, and also to get ahead of it if there was going to be a problem.

You applied on the 10th of June. You are still well inside normal processing times. So I would suggest you wait. Some of us applied much earlier than you (I'm April 6th) and eligibility hasn't started for us either.

Whether you should or not is a different matter. As Laguna rightly pointed out, there is no limit on the amount of cash you can carry. Ten thousand dollars is a declaration threshold and if you carry a significant amount more than that then it is highly likely that you would need to provide...

That's amazing. So they didn't even start an eligibility review for you, it just went straight to PPR?

I applied 6th of April. Eligibility review hasn't even started. I sent them a webform yesterday. I shall update when I have movement.

Exactly the same here. I have heard nothing and eligibility has not even started. I applied on April 6, 2021 and gave biometrics on April 20th. Living in the UK. If you manage to get in contact then let me know.
