Step in the right direction. I hope that these measures, along with policies already announced, do something to stem the tide of fake students. It is also beneficial to the genuine students in ensuring they have a more realistic amount of funds to support themselves when they arrive in Canada.

As far as I'm aware you don't need to explain anything about the reason you left/were let go. You just have to have sufficient documentation to show you were in that job for the period of time you said you were (10 months) and that it fulfilled the criteria set out with regard to duties/NOC etc...
