Ask for updates regarding applications submitted in July.

Hello everyone, has anyone applied in July and received any news? My husband's application was submitted on July 25th and was last updated on the tracker on August 25th. We have submitted three webforms, but so far, we have only received general responses like this:

'Your application remains in process at our office, but we are unable to provide a date when the application might be decided. You will be contacted when a decision is made or when more information is required. Please be advised that travel arrangements remain the responsibility of the applicant and you are advised not to make commitments without holding a visa.'

Has anyone submitted application in July received any updates?

My husband's fully funded scholarship for a Master in applied science, should we withdraw this application and apply for SDS, which has a faster processing time? Or we can apply for SDS while waiting for this?

I applied on 18th July
Medical was updated on 8th Aug
Same day eligibility and background verification was started.
Contacted IRCC on 7th Sep and 20th Sep; I was asked to wait for the decision.

Hii, did you do upfront medical exams, or did they send you a medical request later on?

Why did you submit three webforms?

It currently advises 7 weeks processing. That doesn't include time to get biometrics.

Webform 1: We sent it when the application had gone 7 weeks without any further updates.

Webform 2: We received an email from the school asking for a study permit, so we sent it to IRCC with proof that we are currently studying online and must take the exam in October.

Webform 3: We asked if we could submit our SDS while waiting, but they said they didn't know and wouldn't advise.

It starts on 11 Sep.

Upfront.
My first visa application was rejected in 2022.

Looking at your past posts. Is he applying from his country of citizenship? If you want to apply through SDS then you would withdraw application but honestly, not a good idea. Processing may not be any faster. Has university given you a withdrawal date?

There is not much you can do but wait.
