Unfortunately it has never worked that way at IRCC:(. There are many factors that can influence the processing time but even if it is a straight forward, routine application it can take longer than others.
My oath invite took 2.5 months after Decision Made.... hopefully you don't have to wait that long as well seeing your status changed to DM just recently.
You will have something that the list would ask for. You don't have to have all the documents listed but the more documentation you can show will help ...
Most likely it will only effect your timeline a little. Some applicants have reported around 4 weeks additional processing time which doesn't seem to be too bad.
FP are not mandatory but selective for some applicants. I have noticed tho that it has been happening to many applicants. Seem like there are more requests now in the last months.....
If you kept your home/apartment during your times of travel then yes you will enter your home address as well as unemployed in the application. In the physical presence calculator you will put the times of travel and list the countries/place you visited.
Answer truthfully. The answer is "no" for the question did you file. The officers are aware of these situations where yes you are required to file but haven' yet as they are not due.
