    Advise IRCC of your travel plans and ask for the test/oath not be scheduled during this time. Although some applicants have not been successful with it has worked for me as after letting IRCC know of my travel dates my oath was scheduled before the planned trip.

    Only up to 1 year tho. So under current rules eligible to apply in Feb 2020 if you do not and have not left Canada.

    Regarding urgent processing...I had 6 business days between my oath and travel and they wouldn't process as urgent (next business day) as my flight did not leave the next day or two, but only as express pick up (2-9 days). And urgent process is not guaranteed even with confirmed airfare as...

    Yes you can travel with your PR card until your oath. The 10 days is for both, initial or renewal, but only at a passport office if you apply in person. At another Service Canada location it will take 20 days.

    I think for your peace of mind wait for the report to fill in the blanks. As you already said you are waiting for PCP anyway so I think it would benefit you if you wait for the report as you wont be worrying about those blank dates after submitting you application.

    My experience was that the process of applying for citizenship was way easier than applying for PR. I am anxious as well and imagined all kind of scenarios of what if's. My process took 5 months to complete and I still worried every time someone received the test invite or oath invite before me...

    FP request don't seem to extend the process too much from what other users have reported, seems to be average of 4-6 weeks.

    Routine application is when you go through the stages without any additional or minor requests from IRCC. Non-Routine would most likely happen if you receive a full RQ.....
