In my case eCas has been updated first (test invite and oath invite). So it can be either way for individual applicants.

On the application list the times you were employed. On an attachment list the unemployed dates and explanation just as you gave here. I did this for my overlapping jobs. This way you do not leave out any information regarding your employment history.

You are correct...you can't transit through Canada via air. You can drive across border via private car with your COPR but not fly.

Agree with imran01. But for the travels to the US you might want to make sure that your stamps in your passport match your travel dates. I was missing one entry stamp into Canada but luckily the officer was OK with it at the interview.

This is it...it is happening. I am so unbelievable happy I can't describe it!!! This is what showed when I just checked my eCas a few minutes ago:" 5.We sent you a notice on November 10, 2016 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on December 1, 2016...

Yes it should update to that.

Travel plans will not be accepted for urgent processing. You would need to be able to show that you loose out on a job for example if you are not a citizen.

So I agree that trying to call is an option. But you might be correct that you won't get any answer.... have you tried ATIP request?
