Received/receiving EI ( Service Cnada) will affect on Citizenship Application ?

I am a member of work union and I was working with a company (through my union ) but got laid off and applied for employment insurance ( because was eligible for EI ) but after getting couple cheque of employment insurance , Union gave me job again and now I have been on and off from my work but still get my employment insurance if I don't work full time hours.It has been like this since last 3 month .Work and lay off then back to work again then lay off but right now I am working full time so I think now they won't pay me anymore EI but whenever I will be laid off in future I will re apply for employment insurance because my employment insurance is good till May, 2017.

But in the mean time ....

But I will be eligible for citizenship in December 5th so Should I mention that I was unemployed for three weeks and out in my application or not because I got a job and worked there for couple or three weeks some and again re applied for my EI then again got a job for a month and they laid me off ( It's union jo through all the contractor) ...or should I just put all the employers information where I have worked in past and my current employer and don't need to tell them that I was out of work and getting EI?

Please reply guys ---Need your good opinion if anybody had to go through all this process.

its better to show..on what periods you are getting EI..and on what period you are getting some hours..and what period again EI.. and so on..its better that your application shows the true picture of your employment in reference period...

I lost job and got a new job after 8 months. I received EI for 4 months. I did fill in the application with company/period and unemployment period as the form was made such. You don't need to mention EI, I didn't, but I don't think EI will affect on your application. Of course, your settlement is important but you can explain the situation where you were laid off and you were searching for a job. My interviewer asked how I supported my family during my unemployment, I said my wife worked. You can say you received EI.

But if I will put that I was unemployed for certain time and then got back to work and then laid off again( unemployed) there will be to many dates for my unemployment and they might say why you were on the job and got laid off again and you went back to your work and laid off again..

Will it impact on my application ?
Or should I just enter that dates of my all employer and don't need to mention that I was unemployed for few times...

As scylla said, this does not impact your application. Don't lie on your application. Any mis-representation may lead to revocation at a later date.

On the application list the times you were employed. On an attachment list the unemployed dates and explanation just as you gave here. I did this for my overlapping jobs. This way you do not leave out any information regarding your employment history.

just wondering if I attach another sheet for my work/education history just to mention my unemployment then are they going to look into it ?
won't it mess up to them with all the dates I will enter in my work history sheet and my unemployment history sheet ?
Will it be good idea to describe everything in accordance from starting ( employed & unemployed then again employed & unemployed then again employed ) on work/education history sheet ?

Whatever a PR does in completing a citizenship application, the PR should absolutely NOT vary the information provided in anticipation of the impact it might have on how IRCC processes it. The only approach to providing information is to be sure to submit ACCURATE and COMPLETE answers according to the applicant's best understanding of the question.

Sure, some information may be framed in various ways, using different language, but nonetheless the key is to submit ACCURATE and COMPLETE answers according to the applicant's best understanding of the question.

Approaching the questions in an application any other way is fraught with risk. Sure, for many there is no problem. But, for many more the consequences for being perceived to have made a material misrepresentation can range from inconvenience and delays to very severe penalties, including compromising one's credibility, getting bogged down for years in a lengthy and difficult residency/presence case, bogged down in a suspected fraud case, denial of citizenship or later revocation of citizenship, all the way to prosecution for fraud in the criminal justice system leading to a stint in government provided housing (of the secure sort), and if the latter, potential loss of PR status due to serious criminality (under more strict provisions implemented by the Harper government).

Adding, for emphasis, I am referring to being perceived to have made a misrepresentation, whether or not there is an actual misrepresentation. Sure, if IRCC perceives an applicant has made misrepresentations, the nature and scope of the actual impact in the particular case will depend in very large part on findings of fact, on determining whether in fact a misrepresentation was made. But just being perceived to have made a misrepresentation tends to trigger a significantly detrimental impact, and once an individual's credibility is viewed as compromised, things tend to go from bad to worse. The importance of preserving one's credibility is perhaps second only to meeting the actual qualifications themselves (albeit, failing to follow the instructions is probably the more common thing that trips applicants).

It is always good to stick to guidelines and rules set by IRCC; the rule is to provide reason for unemployment, not how you are earning your living. The application even gives you tips on how to answer (unemployed, homemaker.....etc). If they wanted applicants to provide employment letter or pay stubs, they would have certainly included that in their application, but they did not. For any question, if you need more space to answer, you are allowed to provide additional sheets, no problem with that and it is stated in some questions to use another sheet if needed. You can answer like this for example: "UNEMPLOYED/LAID OFF/LOOKING FOR JOB" for the pertinent periods which will suffice.
