Yes it takes time to get the clearance from FBI, but YOU MUST SUBMIT IT. If you don't, they'll find out with your passport and you'll find yourself in deep trouble. Is it really worth it? Absolutely NOT. So get your FBI clearance certificate when you submit your application

That's a bummer for him. It's awful that police clearance and character certificate weren't asked assuming he had asked the local "Thana/police station" to give him a certificate for immigration purpose. Dude good luck!

Now this post is kinda have me worried about my PCC. I'm getting it done from Karachi, Pakistan. And it does sort of state Police character certificate. I'm assuming people from.pakistan and specifically Karachi must have had the same wording. May be your rejection was for something else.

You should be fine. Happened with me too. I called them up and they said just put your name and reference number on the envelope. Put the academic request form in the post along with sealed envelope and you're good to go
