At least NDVO is moving even though slowly. As you must have read some VOs are processing 2018 cases. Looks like your parents have already passed medicals. I believe it will go quickly once the CO comes to your case. I saw some cases like yours since IME of Sep got DM for PA.

Scanned copy is OK. Most of us have sent scanned copy through email unless some had to sent originals as instructed. I don't think you will receive acknowledgement email from CPC-M. Check your myCIC page. After few weeks it will change to "We are reviewing documents you submitted."

Ecas shows the DM status but does not have dates. DM date has to be as per the SA letter unless someone checks ecas everyday. It is not reported by many users on time as they become busy after getting SA letter to send documents. You can check on the column N, the last time in group was in Nov 15.

Sponsor DM column contains the date of SA letter.

Your non-accompanying dad has to do medical otherwise it will be strong ground for refusal of your mom's PR application.

Mine also showed "Your action is required" and I got medical request after 100 days of sending additional documents to NDVO.
