Wondering if anyone can help me with my question below. I am only sponsoring my mom but received medical requests for both my mom and dad. Does my dad need to complete medical even though he is not coming to Canada?

Yes, he does. Both parents need to
Pass medical.

Thanks! What about biometrics and police record? I only received one letter for my mom. Does my dad need to provide these as well?

@YULIA-2016 @robertp @laxsun @jayeshaminnew pls update info in tracker, just received Biometrics instruction letter and application status is showing "We are processing your application. Bio and PCC are only required for the applicant so just your mum.
Reason they send medical to both parents is if your mum sponsored your dad down the road . They need to make sure that he does not have any significant health issues that require ongoing treatment.

Your non-accompanying dad has to do medical otherwise it will be strong ground for refusal of your mom's PR application.

Friends which is better way to submit documents to VO Mississauga
1. though email given in SA letter
2. through webform
3. both
thanks

Through instructions in the request email itself. It will state the following (more or less),
- Original/copy
- Email if send electronically
- Mailing address if send by snail mail

Web form is another good way to send documents but the request email usually outlines all the information.

@robertp please add me to this list. As notified earlier, mine is 10 May case, file was In Process awaiting DM/PPR but transferred to NDVO on 29 Nov during background checks stage. Current e-cas status is "Application Received". Frustrating that NDVO hasn't even put it back in "In Process" in 5 weeks.

No Update at all. I don't know what to do anymore.

Same here. As recommended by @ZOYAMAN13
I called Alberta Income Support, but they don’t know where these social assistance checks go.
They told me if I never took it they won’t have anything for me in the system and I should verify with the IRCC to know exactly what and where they sent it, also they told me without my consent IRCC won’t be able to get anything from Alberta Works.
I don’t know what else to do.
IRCC’s Call centre keeps on repeating same “24 months process” so Its not possible to get any help from them to see what they really need.
