    QUEBEC APPLICANTS LETS SHARE EXPERIENCE

It's not at all surprising you got no news or information on your application from either Paris or Quebec. As you describe the circumstances, you made the wrong application to the wrong place. The London High Commission will not be able to help you either. The procedure is described here...

Best time to move to Canada

As already said, it's too late to get a temporary job for the holiday season. Also, many companies function at a slower pace during the Christmas - New Year period (staff on leave, etc), so not really a good time to job hunt. I'd add that a week in a new city, in a new country, is no time at...

Got an ITA for FSW instead of CEC... too many problems now!!!

Whether correct or not, that "advice" won't make any difference to the fact that the OP's spouse will be required to provide the requested documents even as a non-accompanying dependent, whether the ITA is for FSW or Cec.

Article about Express Entry - might be erased by new govrnt.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but: nowhere is it stated by CIC/the Canadian government that a study permit will lead to PR. The study permit actually contains wording which directly refutes it as a route to PR. The PGWP is actually quite generous, and allows international students a...

LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

The ETA will be mandatory from March 16th 2016 for visa-exempt passport holders, unless they hold a valid visa or PR card. If you have a COPR it doesn't affect you travelling to land as PR. If you don't hold a visa-exempt passport, it doesn't affect you at all anyway.

Article about Express Entry - might be erased by new govrnt.

Exactly. Nothing in the official news from the government confirms or even mentions anything about EE that the author of the "article" linked in the first post gave his opinion on/speculated about. The fact that the first result in a quick search on said author brings up a false/misleading...

Article about Express Entry - might be erased by new govrnt.

Re bolded: not in his mandate to the immigration minister I just linked to (I think we posted at the same time). The *author* of the article states that he (the author) thinks EE should be scrapped. He does propose some adjustments that might help some candidates up their points in EE.
