It's about increasing options in life because you never know what the future holds. It's a fact that a Canadian passport gives you more options in life, even if you want to live in India. I'd rather my kids go to IITs if they can't qualify for UWaterloo or Toronto. McGill might be higher in the...

You're forgetting the 1-2 year working holiday programs that you can take advantage of as a Canadian passport holder. Eligibility for most is till the age of 35 which is more than most countries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_holiday_visa And getting work visas and residence visas in...

Does Post Graduate Diploma course from IIIT banglore & Upgrad considered for Canada PR.

Admission "counselors" of upgrad are just salesmen who don't know anything. Ignore what they say. Diploma/certification aspect doesn't matter. A certificate will improve your CRS score just the same - it says "2 or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees" after all.

Study permit extension-Nov applicant still in process

Yeah, my bad. Flagpoling for study permits is only possible for US nationals, green card holders, and residents of Greeland and St. Peirre et Miquelon.

Judicial Review on Study Permit who Received Settlement Proposal Join Here

Wow, that sucks. It's maddening how arbitrary IRCC can be. Will you do the process yourself again?

Study permit documents for Work Exp (salary of 1.5 months in cash and then in the bank)

Get it on letterhead from your company's HR department that you were paid in this way? Will the cash element reflect on Fom 16? If so, you can use that as well.

    Indian university accepted or not?

If you believe that to be the case you could just do a quick 3-4 month certificate in a relevant field from NPTEL. That'll increase your chances of admission. Personally I've never seen such a reason for rejection in anyone's GCMS notes. Officers do reject for low grades but I've never heard of...

    Indian university accepted or not?

It's a recognized private university from UGC. No such thing as blacklisted - as long as it's recognized by UGC officially. If agents are refusing to file, you can apply yourself through Ontario Colleges International Student Portal.

    1 year PGWP

Yeah, in that case definitely go for a 2nd 8month/1yr course. With immigration and IRCC always play safe and think of the long-term.

Should I wait till September 2023? Masters or PG Diploma?

MS in CS option is better if you can get into a co-op program. Better for employability. If you only care about PGWP and PR then I guess go for a PG diploma.

Going back to school after pgwp refusal

You can apply for both a study permit extension (for another 8month-1yr course) and PGWP at the same time. This way you'll be hedging yourself against the risk of PGWP refusal.

    1 year PGWP

1+1 programs are 99.999% successful. How old are you? If you're still in your 20s I don't see much benefit in trying to save 1 year. Problem with the first option is the uncertainty. What if you get laid off 9 months in? That would be a bad situation for you. I'd go for the safe route and...

My only fear before taking the decision to study in Canada

You're thinking way too far in the future - you don't even have a study permit in your hands yet. A 3 year PGWP is more than enough to get permanent residency via PNPs (worst case scenario).
