Don't do IGNOU - they have idiotic attendance requirements (that they actually enforce - in my experience). Search this forum for posts on Annamalai University, Anna University, or Alagappa University.

I have a similar background (except I'm not from Nigeria). I scored on the low side in my undergraduate. Been rejected from Algonquin and Centennial. I've now applied to Conestoga. I'll never understand why these Canadian colleges are more selective than their British/Australian counterparts.

Gotta disagree with that. I've done all three - PTE, TOEFL and IELTS (all Academic versions) and PTE was the absolute easiest. TOEFL and IELTS are similar in difficulty in reading but I felt that listening, speaking, and writing in IELTS were harder than TOEFL. Also you get no breaks in IELTS -...

IELTS is only a requirement if you apply under SDS. Otherwise PTE, TOEFL, IELTS, and even DuoLingo (although DuoLingo is only accepted by a handful of colleges/unis) are all valid.
